There have been mor e than 13 great white shark sightings in the Bay of plenty in the last year.Do you want more sharks in the B.O.P? “think about the kids”! i believe that the government should put up steel chain nets so the sharks cant just rip through it,and make the holes big enough so that fish wont just bump it and the alarm will go off and people will get worried . We should also make it if something hits it hard it will go off
We need some nets no matter the cost, would you rather have someone getting killed by a shark or wasting a couple of hundred dollars?. The consequences of not having a shark net is vital a shark could just swim in a kill someone then it will comeback and no-one would even realize untill they saw it swimming.
That money should be spent on getting nets up and setting an alarm system on them so when a shark touches the net everyone will know to get out of the water in time.And even if a shark bites through the net the alarm system will still go off and people will realize to get out of the water in time
We need to get more lifeguards on both sides on the beach. because if someone is in trouble on the other side of the beach the life guards wont know anything bad is happening and the person will get pulled out to deep and try to franticly swim back in and get pulled out even further and the life guards wouldn’t even notice anything.
I really think that we should get more lifeguards, alarm systems and to get nets put up. I think we shouldn’t worry about money just peoples lives so its your decision peoples lives or money.Yours sincerely. OLIVER NORRIS ROOM 29 tauranga intermediate.
